Tocumwal Golf Club

The secret is out! Along the Mighty Murray, historic Tocumwal is not only famous for the elusive Murray cod – its golf course is unsurpassed. Hosting the annual Southern PGA Trainee Championships, the magnificent 36 hole championship sand-belt course offers a challenge to golfers of all levels Just an easy 3 hour drive from Melbourne will see you arrive at ‘golfing heaven’ in Tocumwal.

The current home of the South Region PGA Trainee Championships, the Tocumwal Golf Course offers two immaculate championship courses with excellent quick greens and gently undulating fairways of wintergreen couch.

The 18 hole Presidents Course of 6066m and Par 72 has deep bunkering and is heavily treed creating a vast contest and making club selection a priority.

The links-style 18 hole Captains Course (6272m, Par 72) has strategic bunkers and more water in play across nine original and nine new holes.

Uniquely the holes on both courses can be arranged into four composite courses offering the golfer up to six different course combinations. Voted in the Top 100 of Australia’s Best Public Access Courses in 2011 (The Golf Course Guide 2011), Tocumwal is a course that never closes – regardless of the weather.
