GOLF CLUB DROUGHT PROOFED

The Board of the Tocumwal Golf Club has now finalised the purchase of High Security water rights to guarantee sufficient water for the long term future of the club.

In October, acting on the advice of our Course Superintendant Matt McLeod, the Board entered into negotiations to sell our holdings of 340 MgL of General Security water and used the funds to purchase 212 Mgl of High Security water.

The Board is pleased to announce the successful transactions were completed in January.

This High Security water combined with our allocation of recycled water from the Shire and our ground water points on the course will be sufficient to ensure that the course remains in top condition, even through periods of protracted drought.
